What are our products?
MedViewCD
The name of our first product is MedViewCD. It is a software adapted for the consultation of medical databases. The principle of this software is to classify files by case, which contain a description and a series of images (diagram). The database is then burnt on a CD-ROM, with the software MedViewCD. This CD-ROM can be then read and consulted by any Macintosh or compatible PC, without the need of a particular software beforehand installed. This CD-ROM is indeed autonomous and multi-platform compatible. This software is particularly adapted to the following specialities:
Radiology
MedViewCD supports the radiological standard format: DICOM, with notably images in 12/16 bits. He also allows to get back easily the images of a PACS. You can then create collections mixing any modality: US, CT, CR, MRI, Angio, NM... Thanks to Quicktime, you can also navigate in spatial / temporal series or show reconstructions in 3D.
Dermatology
MedViewCD allows to create bases of collections of pictures, supporting the high resolutions and images in 24 bits. You can also integrate without quality loss histological images.
Surgery
MedViewCD is your solution for pre-surgery, per-surgery and post-surgery pictures. It also supports endoscopic and laparoscopic movies, thanks to a total compatibility with Quicktime.
Histology
MedViewCD will create for you collections of high quality of any histological pictures.
Anatomty
Thanks to MedViewCD, you can create CD-ROMs for education, with movies and pictures of high quality!

Casimage
We developed this database software in collaboration with the Digital Imaging Unit of the Geneva University Hospital. It is a complete solution for the creation and sharing of multimedia database, such as teaching files. It is a full database environment with an easy and powerfull graphic user interface. It works in local or in Client/Server mode. It is compatible with MacOS and Windows operating systems.

What are the technical caracteristics of MedViewCD and Casimage?
MedViewCD and Casimage support the following formats: DICOM (All modalities), JPEG, PICT, TIFF, BMP, Quicktime Movies, AVI, MPEG. MedViewCD and Casimage support all Power Macintosh systems and PC (Windows 95 / 98 / NT).
MedViewCD
The data are shared on the same CD (hybrid CD), so avoiding duplicating the data. The software starts alone during the insertion of the CD. It works on any computer, without that the user needs to possess a particular software. This CD-Rom is thus totally autonomous. His simple graphic user interface allows the use by any user, without necessary training. His interface is "adaptable" to the needs of the user, so allowing to add explanatory presentations, internet links, etc.
Casimage
This database software is based on the 4th Dimension database environment by ACI Inc. It works in local mode or in client/server mode. Creation and edition of your collections is handled by the proprietary client of 4th Dimension. You can then share your collections with the incorporated HTTP web server with Internet Explorer or Netscape .
